About Me
Hi, I'm Aoife. Welcome to Análú Therapy.
Análú is the Irish word for breathe. It felt like the only name that made sense, because at the heart of everything we do in therapy, and in learning to regulate our nervous system, we start and finish with the breath. It's the tool our bodies have always had. Sometimes we just need help remembering how to use it.
I'm a Certified Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist working with people who are carrying more than most people around them realise. Chronic illness, anxiety, pain, low confidence; these are real and often invisible struggles, and they deserve more than a surface level response.
My path to this work was a personal one. I know what it's like to live with the emotional weight of chronic illness, because I live it. At a time when I was struggling, I found hypnotherapy, and it changed things for me in ways I hadn't expected. That experience gradually led me to wonder whether what had helped me might help others too. So I trained. And the more I learned, the more I understood that this was exactly the work I was meant to do.
I work with clients online and in person, blending Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and hypnotherapy techniques to create real, lasting change, not just in how you think, but in how you feel day to day. Chronic illness and system overwhelm can take so much from you as a person, so I want to help you take back some of that power.
This is a space where you don't have to explain yourself. You're welcome here, on the hard days, the okay days, and everything in between.
